Neil Lennon's Celtic goalkeeper call questioned as pundit gives confident Rangers win prediction

Richard Foster is confident Rangers will extend their lead to 19 points on Saturday as he questions the decision to bring Vasilis Barkas back for Celtic.

The Greek returned to the starting XI for Wednesday's win over Dundee United, with manager Neil Lennon confirming he'll start at Ibrox.

And despite Celtic having turned their form around with four Premiership wins in a row the Partick Thistle man insists there will be only one winner at the weekend.

Speaking on Sportscene Foster said: "I still think Rangers will win the game.

"I think they've got so much going forward and Celtic are still conceding too many chances for Neil Lennon 's liking.

"Rangers have certainly got players capable of taking those chances."

Lennon has already confirmed that Barkas will start on Saturday, despite Conor Hazard's decent run of form.

And Foster admits he finds that odd after the Greek's previous unconvincing displays.

He said: "It's a strange one, you don't often see teams changing their goalkeeper as frequently as Celtic have.

"I think Barkas has probably struggled in his first few games.

"Today (against Dundee United) he did everything that was asked of him, I don't think he had much to do but he was confident enough and composed enough.

"I think Hazard can count himself unlucky not to be playing but Neil Lennon spoke about Barkas coming in as the number one goalkeeper, he feels it's too much, maybe, for the young goalie to go into the Old Firm game.

"So Barkas will play and it's up to him to prove his doubters wrong and show he can be number 1."
