Neil Lennon's Celtic fire burns again as viral clip captures the thunder fans have been demanding

Neil Lennon may have left the fiery antics of yesteryear behind long ago but there's undoubtedly been a subdued air about the Celtic boss this season.

And, to be honest, it's little wonder why.

His side have plummeted into crisis and he's toiled away in an attempt to somehow turn it around.

There are clearly no quick fixes at Parkhead, but the embattled gaffer was at least afforded the sweet release of a victory on Thursday night.

Lennon's much-changed side, inspired by Ismaila Soro and David Turnbull, prevailed 3-2 over Lille to salvage some pride from a bruising Europa League campaign.

Call it a dead rubber, but simply getting a result and performance clearly means a lot to Lennon right now.

Turnbull's late winner captured three points before the BT Sport cameras captured the manager's show of emotion on the sidelines.

Former Celtic youth Paul Slane claimed earlier this season he feared Lennon had been replaced by a stunt double on the sidelines.

But there was no doubt it was the man himself on the touchline last night.

The old cliche says the manager kicks every ball and it appears Lennon's muscle memory kicked into gear when Kristoffer Ajer cut back for Turnbull to sweep home.

Afterwards, the Irishman insisted there were plenty of positives to take from the victory.

He told BT Sport: "There were a lot of bonuses, Soro I thought was excellent. David, Klimala, I thought young Henderson had a fine game as well.

“It’s the first time Jullien and Duffy have played together and Connor Hazard in goal. So there’s a lot of pluses tonight, no question.

“We’ll try to win on Sunday and get the mentality right, keep the spirit going.

“I’ve got a lot of belief, I think there’s a long way to go in the season."
