Ex-Celtic boss Neil Lennon has tipped Kieran Tierney to eventually make a money-spinning move to Manchester City.
Tierney has established himself as one of the best full-backs currently playing in the Premier League after a string of consistent displays for Arsenal since joining from Celtic for £25million in the summer of 2019.
And with the Scotland international still just 24-years-old, he definitely has time on his side - and his former manager reckons Pep Guardiola and City's billionaire owners will soon come calling.
Lennon was in charge of the Hoops when Tierney decided to swap Glasgow for North London, and he wrote in his latest Times column: "When I had him at Celtic, Kieran was really confused about what to do in terms of leaving because the club meant so much to him.
"Ambition and finances meant he made the right call for his career. For me, he's Arsenal's best player.
"I could see him going to Manchester City, he's got all the tools to play for them.
"He's maybe not got the all-rounded left foot that Andy has, that natural whip, but he's got everything else and he sees things. He's so athletic and powerful."
Tierney still has several seasons left to run on his current deal with the Gunners but the Arsenal hierarchy have already started talks to tie him down to a long-term contract.
