Neil Lennon reacts to Celtic Albian Ajeti charge as boss vows to fight SFA decision

Neil Lennon has vowed to fight Albian Ajeti's charge from the SFA as he was cited for simulation against Kilmarnock.

The striker was pulled down in the area by Killie keeper Colin Doyle as Kevin Clancy pointed to the spot.

Odsonne Edouard stepped up to convert the set play to make it 2-0 as Celtic ran out 4-0 winners at Rugby Park.

The SFA then hit Ajeti with a notice of complaint to further examine the incident for diving.

But Celtic boss Lennon says there was obvious contact and the club would be appealing the incident.

He said: "It is a penalty. He has had contact to the back of his foot/ankle.

"The keeper has made contact, he has gone down, the referee has given a penalty. I don't see any simulation.

"Simulation is where there is no contact. There is obvious contact, you can see that quite clearly.

"I don't understand why these charges have been brought up against Albian, we don't agree with it at all so we will be appealing it of course."
