Neil Lennon laughs off Celtic 'burner' social media account claims

Neil Lennon has dismissed suggestions that he has a "burner" account on social media.

The former Celtic manager has laughed off claims that he has an undercover profile on Twitter.

It has been theorised for some time that the Hoops hero has a Twitter account and uses it to defend his record while as manager of the Scottish champions.

The account, Siamese Bhoy, has written in its bio: "Celtic supporter. Not Neil Lennon."

Appearing on Go Radio's Football Show this evening, host Paul Cooney was asked by a listener to pose the question to Lenny.

Laughing, the 52-year-old scoffed: "What?!"

He continued: "I've got a Siamese cat! But I don't have anything to do with social media at all.

"I gave it all up a long time ago and am happier for it. I don't have Instagram or anything, I've got no time for it."

Meanwhile, Celtic have teased a look at the club's new home kit for next season.

And fans are not best pleased with the apparent design.

The teaser images seem to confirm that the 'snakeskin' pattern will feature on the latest edition of the club's green and white hooped top.

Posting on social media tonight, the club showcased three close-up images of the jersey, which will be worn throughout the 2023/24 season.

And the snakeskin-like pattern on the green sections of the top could visibly be spotted on the kit manufactured by Adidas.
