Neil Lennon gives Rangers team clue as Celtic boss provides Chris Jullien injury update

Beaming Neil Lennon admits star man David Turnbull will be tasked with carrying the fight to Rangers but remained coy over Scott Brown's Ibrox role.

Ismaila Soro once again turned heads in the heart of the midfield as he grabbed his first goal in green and white during the comprehensive 3-0 win over Dundee United.

And now all eyes turn to Ibrox and the starting XI that the Irishman selects for his side's biggest game of the season.

Odsonne Edouard grabbed the third but the Irishman had special praise for Turnbull who netted for a third consecutive game.

And the Hoops boss admits there is no doubt that he will be in the mix for Saturday's showdown with Rangers as Celtic look to trim their rivals' mammoth 16-point Premiership lead.

Lennon said: "He's a class act.

"Not only his goal but the way he manipulates the ball under pressure, he's got great vision.

"His ball for Griff where he's hit the volley was something special, so we are delighted with him.

"It's a brilliant goal. He finishes like a striker, he's hit the ground running, he had to wait a wee while to get to the pace of the way we wanted to play.

"He's now in right good match rhythm and obviously excellent form.

"You never cement your place at a club like this but he's playing consistently well and there would be no reason for me to leave him out really.

But the Hoops boss refused to be drawn on who would join Turnbull in the midfield after Soro's all-action display before he was replaced by the skipper in the 80th minute.

The 35-year-old has only started the Scottish Cup Final since the 1-1 draw with St Johnstone but has vast experience against Rangers.

But a coy Lennon said: "It's a nice choice to have.

"We'll try and pick the strongest team, the strongest squad and go there and win the game on Saturday.

"We are playing against a very good side but Rangers are coming up against us who are in good form as well.

"The game is up for grabs, I think.

"I think there is more to come from the team, the more they get used to playing with the system, playing with each other. We're in a good vein of form and a good groove."

And Lennon admits he faces an anxious wait over the availability of defender Chris Jullien following his agonising clash with the post.

He said: "We don't know yet. It looks pretty painful.

"He was in a lot of pain coming off, there was a lot of swelling. Hopefully that will settle over the next couple of days.

"But it's too too early to say."
