Neil Lennon gives positive Celtic transfer update on Forster and Elyounoussi

Neil Lennon insists their pursuit of Fraser Forster and Mohamed Elyounoussi this summer is "not unrealistic".

The pair excelled for the Hoops on loan from Southampton and Lennon is keen to tie them up on a permanent bais or worst case scenario, another short term deal.

It's reported that their transfer fees and wages would be a potential stumbling block for Celtic.

But Lennon doesn't see it that way and is optimistic about bringing them back to Parkhead for next season.

He said: "I don't think it's unrealistic. They ( Forster and Elyounoussi) are two players who added a lot to the squad last year and made a really positive contribution.

"So they are two players we would dearly love to have for next season.

"But we just have to wait and see. They are not our players. We will see how negotiations go. It's good to see them back and involved and it would give us continuity if we could get those two in."
