Neil Lennon admits he could face losing his job at Celtic as his side were dumped out of the Betfred Cup.
The Hoops lost 2-0 to the Staggies at Parkhead as their dominant cup run came to an end.
It's been a horrible week for the Premiership champions after being knocked out of Europa League on Thursday night against Sparta Prague.
Pressure is mounting on the Northern Irishman and he concedes his position will be in jeopardy after today's result.
Asked if it is getting harder to make a case he is the man for the job, he told BBC Sportsound: "If you keep losing games then yeah.
"This club has high expecatations, there's a demand for excellence and for wins.
"I am fully aware of that and I am not standing here like a happy clapper saying 'everything is ok'. It's not ok, but we'll do all we can if I still have the opportunity to do so and turns things around.
Lennon was then asked if there was a possibilty he won't be given that chance to get Celtic out of this position.
He replied: "Today's result wouldn't have helped put it that way."
