Neil Lennon reckons Celtic midfielder Ryan Christie will be trying his best to put himself in the shop window during Euro 2020.
Christie is set to feature prominently in Steve Clarke's Scotland squad, and looks likely to start Monday's tournament opener against the Czech Republic at Hampden.
The 26-year-old has just one year remaining on his current contract at Parkhead, and has already been linked with moves to the likes of Southampton and Norwich City in the English Premier League.
And his former manager is sure he'll be extremely keen to show himself off to potential suitors over the next month or so, with the chances of agreeing new terms with the Hoops looking extremely unlikely.
Lennon wrote in his Times column: "With Ryan Christie's contract situation at Celtic he'll want to put himself in the shop window and try to peak for this tournament.
"Steve has gone with Ryan off the striker and I think that works for him.
"Number ten is Ryan's best position. He's a fit lad, he gets around the pitch. You need legs all over the park.
"Ché Adams offers pace, power and good movement but Lyndon Dykes has done so well for Scotland.
"He's maybe not a natural finisher but he's an asset in the air, he's a good out ball for Scotland and at set plays he will be important. He's got that extra height defensively for attacking the ball.
"Maybe Steve will go with the two strikers but I think he likes Ryan to give him that creativity and balance and help the midfield."
