Cardiff City have been handed a huge injury boost ahead of Leeds United's visit next week.
The Whites get their Championship campaign back underway with a visit to the Welsh capital following a three-month pause due to the coronavirus.
It has given injured players time to regain fitness, with the last three weeks of training giving managers the opportunity to run the rule over squad members they thought they would have to do without.
For Cardiff, that has meant welcoming back both Lee Tomlin and Nathaniel Mendez-Laing, who had both looked set to miss the rest of the campaign when they suffered their respective injuries.
Cardiff boss Neil Harris revealed the duo both featured in friendlies against Swansea City and Cheltenham Town and backed them to play a part against Leeds on Sunday.
"Both have played in both games, slightly varied minutes," Harris told Wales Online.
"Both are ever so excited and feel lucky to be back and playing these games because they did not think they were going to be involved in the majority of them.
"So they are really pleased to be back. I am really pleased as a manager and our fan base will be to see our most creative players available.
"They both - as we stand - got through today fine, unless there is any reaction in the coming days.
"Both will be available for Leeds - at what level is debatable for a week or two. But certainly both are available for squad selection next week."
One player who will not be ready for the Whites' visit is former Preston North End full-back Greg Cunningham, who suffered an ACL injury on loan at Blackburn Rovers in the first half of the season.
"Greg Cunningham won't be available for Leeds," Harris said. "Greg is still a little bit away from the training group.
"But we are hoping to have him back in training later this week, which is a real positive moving forward because he is a wonderful character."
