After 13 years of marriage, former Neighbours actor Holly Valance has split from UK billionaire Nick Candy, with an insider claiming that the pair had been going through a “very difficult period”.
Friends close to the couple told The Sun that the former power couple had split in recent weeks.
“This has been a very difficult period for both Nick and Holly, and they are keeping things private out of respect for their family,” the insider claimed.
“The joint parenting of their two amazing daughters remains their top priority. They’ve had to juggle a demanding lifestyle. Between family, public life, and Nick’s intense work commitments, it’s been a tough balance.
“This is a family matter, and they’re doing their best to handle things thoughtfully. Privacy is obviously very important to them both, so they can focus on what’s best for the family.”
Holly rose to prominence after appearing on the iconic Aussie soap Neighbours, in which she played Ramsay Street’s Felicity ‘Flick’ Scully. During this time, she would also take a shot at a music career, dropping “Kiss Kiss”.
In 2009, Holly met Nick. The pair got engaged after two years of dating, officially tying the knot in a lavish California wedding.
The former Neighbours darling then made headlines in early 2024 after spouting a bunch of hate against leftists and calling Greta Thunberg a “demonic little gremlin”.
“I don’t understand why you have this, like, demonic little gremlin high priestess of climatism as the goddess in classrooms, Greta,” Valance said in GB News’ Chopper’s Political Podcast — which saw her chopped from Aussie gay icon status of the noughties.
“And the kids are all coming home with depression and anxiety. Why would you go to your music lesson or bother doing your homework or get out of bed if you think we’re all going to be dead in five years anyway? I mean they told me in class, Greta told me,” she continued.
“Why would you bother? It doesn’t give anybody hope.”
In the same interview, the former soap star claimed Australia was riddled with “problems”, and described US President Donald Trump as “unreal” and “fabulous”.

Neither Holly nor Nick have come forward with a personal statement. However, a spokesperson for the couple said, “This is a private matter and we will not be making any further comment.”
