Neighbours in Kimberley celebrate after netting People's Postcode Lottery windfall

Neighbours on a Nottinghamshire street are celebrating after netting £1,000 in the People's Postcode Lottery.

Two people in Brewery Street, Kimberley, were announced as winners when their NG16 2JS postcode was picked in the daily prize on Friday, May 8.

People’s Postcode Lottery ambassador, Judie McCourt, said: “What a surprise to get just before the weekend, I hope it has made their day. Congratulations to our winners.”

At least 32 percent of ticket sales go directly to charities and players of People’s Postcode Lottery have raised more than £500 million to date for thousands of good causes.

This draw was promoted by the Guide Dogs for the Blind Association which has received over £2.2 million in funding from the players of People’s Postcode Lottery.
