Eight people in Bootle and St Helens won a cash prize in the People's Postcode lottery.
Five people in St Helens are celebrating after winning £1,000 each thanks to their lucky postcode.
The Fenton Close neighbours netted the windfall when WA10 2HR was announced as a Daily Prize winner with People’s Postcode Lottery on Wednesday, January 27 2021.

People’s Postcode Lottery ambassador Matt Johnson sent his well-wishes to the winners. He said: “I’m over the moon for our winners in St. Helens. A big congratulations to everyone. I hope they celebrate tonight and enjoy spending the cash.”
In Bootle, another three people also celebrated a win after bagging £1,000 each.
The Hardy Close neighbours claimed the cash prize when L20 6GN was announced as a Daily Prize winner with People’s Postcode Lottery on the same day as the St Helens winners.

Their win comes after another 13 people in Liverpool won a lottery prize of £1,000 over the weekend.
A minimum of 32% of ticket sales goes directly to charities and players of People’s Postcode Lottery have raised over £600 million to date for thousands of good causes in Britain and beyond.
This draw was promoted on behalf of Postcode Culture Trust which has a mission to inspire learning, understanding and appreciation of science, music, arts and culture.
Many good causes close to the winners have also benefitted from players’ support, and local charities can apply for funding next year.
