Three people in Armadale were celebrating at the weekend after winning £1000 each thanks to their lucky postcode.
The Primrose View neighbours netted the windfall when EH48 2FQ was announced as a Daily Prize winner with People’s Postcode Lottery on Sunday, January 24
People’s Postcode Lottery ambassador, Danyl Johnson, sent his well-wishes to the winners.
He said: “A big congratulations to all those who have picked up a prize today in Armadale. I hope you treat yourselves to something special with the cash.”
A minimum of 32 per cent of ticket sales goes directly to charities and players of People’s Postcode Lottery have raised over £600 million to date for thousands of good causes in Britain and beyond.
This draw was promoted on behalf of Postcode Culture Trust which has a mission to inspire learning, understanding and appreciation of science, music, arts and culture. Many good causes close to the winners have also benefited from players’ support, and local charities can apply for funding next year.
