Ten neighbours in Nottinghamshire are celebrating after they each became £1,000 richer thanks to their lucky postcode.
The Jarvis Avenue neighbours, in Bakersfield, netted the cash when their NG3 7BH postcode was announced in the People's Postcode Lottery daily prize on Thursday (November 12).
Matt Johnson, People’s Postcode Lottery ambassador, sent his well-wishes to the winners.
He said: "I’m delighted for all of our winners in Nottingham today.
"I hope they enjoy spending the win and treat themselves with the prize money."
A minimum of 32 percent of ticket sales goes directly to charities.
Players of People’s Postcode Lottery have raised more than £600 million to date for thousands of good causes in Britain and beyond.
This draw was promoted on behalf the Postcode Local Trust which provides short term funding to good causes that help local communities enhance their natural environment.
Many good causes close to the winners have also benefited from players’ support, and local charities can apply for funding next year.
