Neighbours call police after mistaking shadows of kids wrestling for 'domestic'

A family was left baffled after police turned up at their house following reports of a "domestic".

The mum said that her neighbours called the police on them after seeing "shadows" through the windows and heard "yells," which they thought were signs of an assault.

But what they really saw was kids wrestling.

The mum-of-five shared footage captured on her doorbell of police officers surrounding the porch on TikTok, where she's known as @babymamaxox2.

In a video that has been viewed more than 900,000 times, a police officer can be seen slamming his fist against the door, shouting: "Sheriff's office open the door!"

He then steps back and points a gun at the person opening the door, saying: "Step out, step out for me man."

A young boy then steps out onto his porch clueless as to what is happening, as the officer asks: "Who else is in the house?"

The youngster tells him it's just his aunt, his uncle, and his cousin.

Since being posted, the video has been liked more than 2.3 million times and has received thousands of comments.

One person said: "Imagine opening the door after wrestling with your brothers and a cop just has a gun pointed at you."

Another said: "AFTER TODAY THESE CHILDREN OT PTSD AND NEVER WRESTLED AGAIN."

"They actually handled this in a good way. I've watched a lot worse, at least they knocked," said a third.

And someone else put: "Nice of the neighbours to be concerned instead of saying 'none of my business.'"
