Neighbour posts furious 15-metre long note through door over children's toy dispute

A parent has shared a furious 15-metre long note that dropped through the letter box from a neighbour demanding their children's toys are returned.

A video shows the paper running the entire length of the home and even up the wall on the opposite side, written in various colours of felt tip pens and containing multiple explicit insults.

The recipient says the note was penned by a neighbour, claiming to have written it on behalf of their seven-year-old daughter, who had asked for their mum to send a 'mean' message demanding the toys she left in their back garden are handed back.

Sharing the clip on Reddit, the parent explained their child often plays with the girl next door and, as well as giving back any toys found, they've also told the mother she's more than welcome to "come over and looks around" for any toys which may belong to them, but she instead "continues doing this batty s***".

The parent added that security cameras they have outside the home caught the neighbour "forcing the poor girl to put this scroll on the front porch", adding that she appeared to be visibly reluctant to do so.

The post gained more than 600 comments and when one asked the parent to transcribe exactly what was written, they summarised that the neighbour says she doesn't remember what toys had been left, but she would know which belonged to her child if she saw them.

People were left stunned by the move, as one commented to say: "Imagine being so angry at your neighbor that you go and buy a god damn scroll."

A second said: "A note ? That’s a f***ing constitution."

Another added: "The sheer effort put into this, the amount of time needed to create this, that's the most scary part here.

"Making this thing gives you a huge amount of time realizing what a dumb idea it is. I've ripped up an angry note because the 10 seconds writing it were enough for me to realize and cool down."
