Neighbour leaves furious note on car windscreen asking driver to 'please stop'

An angry neighbour left a note on a car near their house and branded their parking "anti-social" and "thoughtless."

The note, that was taped down to the windscreen, had been penned by an angry neighbour who had reached the end of their tether over the heated parking row.

The Mirror reports how a passer-by couldn't believe their eyes when they spotted the note and snapped a picture to upload to Reddit. The seething neighbour took aim at the parking of the car, as well as the size of the vehicle.

They claimed that it was blocking access to their drive for an entire week and asked them to "please stop." Sharing a picture of the message to Reddit, the amused note enthusiast, who goes by the username u/Christovski, described it as a 'real treat, remarking, 'When your neighbour parks 20cm into the ramp to your drive'.

The note, which they'd spotted during a walk, read as follows: "Your parking is anti-social and thoughtless. Your car is too long to park here legally.

"It either sticks out too far at the front or - as now - at the back or both. For a week in September, we could not get our car out because yours and another car blocked our car in. Please stop."

Painting a picture of the scene, the author of the post clarified: "It's a small driveway ramp, next door has one too. The space in between can fit a Fiesta/Micra-sized vehicle in. This was a big people carrier.

"The amount this vehicle had blocked the driveway meant that if someone legally parked on the other side, the driveway would be inaccessible."

Other Reddit users were left equally enthralled by the neighbourhood drama, with one person writing: "Cars make people turn into mindless, tribalistic animals."

Another commented: "They couldn't get their car off the drive for a week and they're only writing a polite note about it now?! I wish I had their level of patience. I'd have done something stupid and regrettable in the first 10 minutes."
