Neigh problem: Dramatic moment firefighters rescue horse from an icy river

This was the moment a horse that slipped on a grassy verge and plunged into an icy river was rescued by firefighters.

Firefighters were called to Churchill Road, Grays, Essex at about 7am on Monday to reports of the stricken mammal.
