Neida expands warehouse and distribution operation after moving to new site

Precision components supplier Neida Products has relocated its warehouse and distribution operation to a brand new base.

The Stoke-on-Trent company – which was previously spread across two sites at Trentham Lakes and Park Hall Industrial Estate – has relocated to a new 22,000 sq ft unit at St. Modwen Park South, after signing a 15-year lease on the building last year.

Neida has terminated its lease at its 12,500 sq ft site at Park Hall and will use its main head office at Trentham Lakes as an additional base for future manufacturing equipment.

The investment means Neida's Stoke-on-Trent operation now totals 100,000 sq ft.

Logistics manager Gary Crowther-Green said: "The expansion and relocation of the distribution centre will enable a structured growth that will prove to be an invaluable entity of the business."

Neida is one of three businesses which signed up for one of the five new warehouses which have been built at the St. Modwen Park South development.

The company joins energy supplier E.ON and Planova UK Ltd, which specialises in shop fitting and shelving systems, at the site.
