'Need to be winning every game' – Hearts fans left frustrated after Motherwell stalemate

Hearts fans have been left frustrated after failing to pick up maximum points at home to Motherwell this afternoon.

Daniel Stendel's side were unable to follow-up impressive victories over Rangers and Hibs with another win when the Steelmen came to Tynecastle on Saturday – the match finishing 1-1.

The result leaves the Jambos three points adrift at the bottom of the table with St Mirren dropping to 11th after rivals Hamilton secured a victory at home to Kilmarnock.

And fans were quick to share their thoughts on social media.

@DennisLaidlaw reckons there's absolutely no margin for error.

Calum McDonald was frustrated at the team's inability to follow up positive results against Rangers and Hibs.

Craig Burns tweeted to say that Wednesday's match away to St Mirren, now a battle of the bottom two, is a must win.

Long put the visitors ahead in 21 minutes after a mistake from Craig Halkett. The front-man charged down the Hearts defender to win the ball before rounding Zlamal and knocking the ball home.

Hearts were then dealt a further blow when Sean Clare went off injured less than ten minutes later.

However the home side were back level shortly after the break when Washington tapped home at the back post after some fine work by Steven Naismith.

Neither side was able to make the breakthrough and despite some late Hearts pressure, the match finished a draw.

Next up for Hearts is a trip to face St Mirren in Paisley on Wednesday night.
