'Need someone to put them in' - Nottingham Forest star issues Birmingham City verdict and fans respond

Nottingham Forest fans have been reacting to Tiago Silva's message to the City Ground faithful following yesterday's 2-1 defeat to Birmingham City.

Silva opened the scoring 18 minutes in, sitting down Blues defender Jake Clarke-Salter before hammering home his first Championship goal into the roof of Lee Camp's net.

However, Forest passed up the chance to double their advantage when Lewis Grabban missed a penalty shortly after Silva's goal.

The momentum then swung in Blues' favour and they made Sabri Lamouchi's promotion chasers pay with a goal either side of half-time.

Scott Hogan and Kristian Pedersen converted scrappy efforts to end Forest's seven-match unbeaten run but Silva is looking ahead to next weekend's mouth-watering battle with Leeds United.

"Truly disappointed with this result but saturday we go again," he posted on photo-sharing website Instagram.

"Counting on your support at City Ground.

"Happy for my 1st goal on the league."

And Reds fans have reacted to Silva's message.

Here's what they've been saying...
