The North Circular has reopened after a large warehouse fire caused severe rush-hour disruption.
The westbound lanes reopened earlier this morning. One of the three eastbound lanes has also now opened.
The road, the A406, was closed during rush hour between Neasden and the Staples Corner flyover following the blaze at a commercial building.
Transport for London (TfL) said the M1 had also been closed southbound at the interchange.
Drivers had been urged to avoid the area and take alternative routes.
A TfL spokesperson said: "Two of three lanes on the A406 remain closed eastbound from Neasden Lane North following an earlier fire at an abandoned warehouse near staples corner.
"The A406 westbound remains fully re-opened."
London Fire Brigade said 70 firefighters and 10 engines were called to scene of the blaze at 2.40am on Wednesday.
Dramatic pictures showed flames tearing through the building as smoke billowed into the night sky.
LFB said the whole building was damaged by fire.
It added that 17 people were evacuated from nearby properties.
The fire was brought under control by 6.30am.
Station Manager Robbie Robertson, who was at the scene, said: "Firefighters worked extremely hard overnight to prevent the fire spreading to an adjacent building.
"The fire is under control however, fire crews continue to deal with pockets of fire inside the warehouse.
"Seventeen people were evacuated from neighbouring properties as a precaution and we'd ask residents to keep their doors and windows closed."
Police were also on the scene.
Scotland Yard tweeted: "We're assisting @LondonFire at a warehouse fire on the A406 in £Neasden. Road closures likely to severely affect North Circ Rd, Staples Corner and other key routes into morning rush hour. Drivers should avoid the area."
LFB also tweeted: "Ten fire engines & around 70 firefighters are tackling a blaze in a commercial building on North Circular Road in #Neasden. Half of the first floor is alight."
The cause of the fire is not known at this stage.
