POLICE have arrested two men after weapons and drugs were discovered during a series of searches in West Lothian.
Drugs with an estimated street value of £190,000 were seized during the raids on Friday morning.
Officers executed a warrant at Elm Square, East Whitburn, where a bladed weapon and cannabis were found.
Another warrant was executed at Marches Drive, Armadale, where “illegal ornamental weapons” as well as cocaine and cannabis were discovered.
Police also found a “significant” amount of cocaine and cannabis at a property in Wood Drive, Whitburn.
Two men, aged 25 and 30, were arrested and charged before being released on an undertaking to appear in court at a later date.
Detective Sergeant John Irvine said: “Drugs cause misery in our communities and Police Scotland is determined to disrupt the supply of illegal substances and trace those involved.
“This recovery underlines our commitment to the serious organised crime taskforce and the country’s serious organised crime strategy.
