Nearly 18 million Britons have received first COVID-19 vaccine dose

A total of 17,916,181 people have received the first dose of a coronavirus vaccine in Britain, according to official data released on Tuesday, which also showed a further 8,489 cases and 548 deaths within 28 days of a positive COVID-19 test.
