It was originally owned by the founder of Liverpool FC, John Houlding.

Specialist hospitality property adviser Christie & Co is leading the sale of the property, as it also was last year.

In 2017, the business was acquired by award-winning, local businesswoman Kate Stewart and underwent an extensive refurbishment.

The venue has a capacity for over 4,500 people spanning across the entire complex, large outdoor screens erected for finals and live music.

It includes five function rooms, 20 rooms and 123 beds and two public bars.

It also has a hospitality contact with Liverpool FC which brings in around £16,000 of income every home game.
