Neal Ardley says more signings on their way at Notts County

Neal Ardley says is yet to finish in the transfer market with Notts County after adding another striker and midfielder to the squad.

The Magpies boss swooped for midfielder Regan Booty and striker Wes Thomas on Monday with both players in line to make their debuts at Harrogate on Tuesday.

They are the 10th and 11th arrivals since a transfer embargo was lifted two weeks ago with Ardley having to play catch-up with his squad building after the club was only sold to the Reedtz brothers at the end of July.

And the Magpies chief said that he still has work to carry out with a target man and a winger still on the agenda.

“We still want to strengthen,” he said.

“I know it feels like we have signed half of the league but we had to.

“It’s tough because we are trying to evolve everything to get that stability.

“We’d still love another forward in and another creative spark in wide areas.

“Somebody who can play on the sides and can make things happen.

“But we do not have a never ending pot of money.”
