Neal Ardley names Notts County to face Yeovil Town as defender misses out

Neal Ardley has made one change to his Notts County starting line-up for their clash at Yeovil Town.

Centre-back Alex Lacey is ruled out because of a tight hamstring and has been replaced by the experienced Ben Turner.

Otherwise, it was as you were for Notts against the Glovers as Ardley named a 5-3-2 formation, the same system which triumphed over Darren Sarll's side at the weekend.

As usual, Sam Slocombe was in goal behind the back five of Enzio Boldewijn, Connell Rawlinson, Mark Ellis, Turner and Jordan Barnett, who scored at the weekend.

The midfield was packed full of experience with captain Michael Doyle, Jake Reeves and Jim O'Brien who was deployed in a more attacking role.

Up front, Inih Effiong partnered top scorer Kyle Wootton.

On the subs bench, Notts had plenty of attacking options with Elisha Sam and Jimmy Knowles the strikers.

Dion Kelly-Evans, Adam Chicksen and Ruben Rodrigues make up the subs.

Notts County: Slocombe; Rawlinson, Turner, Ellis, Miller; Boldewijn, Doyle, Reeves, O'Brien; Effiong, Wootton.

Substitutes: Chicksen, Rodrigues, Sam, Kelly-Evans, Knowles.
