Neal Ardley names Notts County team to face York City

Notts County boss Neal Ardley has rung the changes for their final pre-season game of the summer when they take on York City this afternoon.

The Magpies boss has made eight changes from the side which lost to Harrogate on Tuesday night.

Luke Pilling replaces Sam Slocombe in goal, while Dion Kelly-Evans comes in at right-back in place of Richard Brindley.

At centre-back, Connell Rawlinson starts as he did on Tuesday, but lines up alongside Alex Lacey who was an unused sub against Town on Tuesday.

Damien McCrory starts his second game of pre-season as he looks to continue to gain match fitness after recovering from a knee injury.

In midfield, there are places for Jake Reeves, Jim O'Brien, Ruben Rodrigues and Enzio Boldewijn.

Reeves was the only player of that quartet to start the game against Town.

Up front, Elisha Sam partners Jimmy Knowles.

Ardley does have plenty of options on the bench in Sam Slocombe, Adam Chicksen, Brindley, Sam Graham, Michael Doyle, Kyle Wootton and Wes Thomas.
