Neal Ardley names Notts County team to face Solihull Moors

Notts County boss Neal Ardley made two changes to his side for the visit of Solihull Moors at Meadow Lane tonight.

Richard Brindley was missing for the Magpies after suffering an injury against Torquay at the weekend which led to the inclusion of Calvin Miller.

The Scotsman was deployed at left-back while Dion Kelly-Evans swapped flanks  to his preferred side of the pitch for the National League clash.

Elsewhere, Ruben Rodrigues was also dropped to the substitutes’ bench in place of Jim O’Brien who started on the left-hand side  of midfield.

They were the only two changes Ardley had decided to make as he hoped for a win against a Moors side who sit one place above them in the table.

In what was a 4-4-2 formation, Sam Slocombe was in goal with the back four being made up of Kelly-Evans, Connell Rawlinson, Alex Lacey and Miller.

In midfield was Enzio Boldewijn, Michael Doyle, Jake Reeves and O’Brien.

Up front, Inih Effiong, on loan from Stevenage, started alongside top scorer Kyle Wootton.

On the bench was Rodrigues, Matty Wolfe, Jimmy Knowles Elisha Sam and Adam Chicksen.

Notts: Slocombe, Kelly-Evans, Rawlinson, Lacey, Miller; Boldewijn, Reeves, Doyle, O'Brien; Effiong, Wootton
