Neal Ardley names Notts County team to face Oxford City

Notts County handed a debut to defender Tylor Golden as boss Neal Ardley rang the changes for the Magpies' FA Trophy quarter-final clash against Oxford City.

The Salford City defender arrived on loan earlier this week and was thrown straight into the starting 11 as the Magpies hoped to continue their march to Wembley.

Ardley made a total of eight changes to the side which were held to a goalless draw against Stockport in midweek.

Sam Slocombe returned in goal to replace Luke Pilling after serving a three-match ban, while Golden replaced Dion Kelly-Evans.

Ben Turner came in for Connell Rawlinson, who was on the substitutes' bench, while Adam Chicksen came in at left-back.

In midfield, Calvin Miller started in midfield alongside Jim O'Brien and Matty Wolfe, while Elisha Sam was deployed on the left-hand side.

Up front Jimmy Knowles was handed a start as was teenager striker Tyreace Palmer was handed his full debut for the club and is player who has graduated through the club's academy.

Ardley did have some heavy artillery on the bench with Enzio Boldewijn and top scorer Kyle Wootton among the substitutes.
