Neal Ardley and Tom Crawford scoop honour after Notts County's win over Barrow

Neal Ardley has been named manager of the day by the Non-League Paper after guiding Notts County to their win at table-topping Barrow.

And midfielder Tom Crawford also gained recognition for his all-action display at Holker Street by being named in the team of the day.

Notts dominated the headlines in the NLP having sealed a 2-0 win against the Bluebirds who suffered their first home defeat since September.

Crawford had opened the scoring in the second half with a header, before Callum Roberts struck the decisive second with some individual magic.

The victory was Notts' third on the spin as they remained sixth in the National League table following their most impressive  result this season.

Ardley's side will now look to make it four wins out four when they host Aldershot at Meadow Lane on Tuesday, knowing a win will lift them to third in the table.

The Non League Paper's team of the week: Jordan Holmes (Ebbsfleet), Luke Burke (AFC Fylde), Moussa Diarra (Woking), Coby Rowe (Sutton); Luke Coulson (Bromley), Tom Crawford (Notts), Max Kretzschmar (Woking), Sam Deering (Dagenham); Marc Richards (Yeovil), Tom Denton (Chesterfield), Kabanga Tshimanga (Boreham Wood).

Manager of the week: Neal Ardley (Notts)
