Ndamukong Suh, Steve Weatherford ‏toy with Giants fans on April Fools’ Day

Even at the age of 32, Ndamukong Suh is still one of the best nose tackles in all of football. Needless to say, it’s a surprise that he remains unsigned as we approach the 2019 NFL Draft, but on Monday night, that appeared poised to change.

Seemingly out of the blue, Suh posted a video of himself approaching MetLife Stadium on Twitter, but offered no corresponding commentary, just a serious of curious emojis.

The tweet immediately raised eyebrows until everyone realized what day it was — April Fools’ Day.

And a prank it was. Six hours after the fact, as the clock approached midnight, Suh revealed it was, in fact, little more than an April Fools’ Day joke aimed at stirring the masses.

But Suh wasn’t the only player/former player to toy with Giants fans on April Fools’ Day. Retired punter Steve Weatherford also messed with Big Blue fans, tweeting that he was en route to East Rutherford for a tryout with the team coupled with a photoshopped report from Adam Schefter.

Weatherford, of course, was met with hordes of fans encouraging him to legitimately come out of retirement and give it another run, but that’s obviously not going to happen.

In the end, it was just a series of April Fools’ Jokes played on Giants fans who already feel like they’ve been toyed with non-stop for over a year.
