Ndamukong Suh on Sister Jean's campus? It happened Friday at Loyola

CHICAGO _ For a day, Loyola experienced life as a football school by hosting one of the NFL's biggest stars.

Ndamukong Suh, the All-Pro defensive tackle for the Rams, worked out on Loyola's campus Friday morning and tweeted a photo of his giant foot stepping inside Gentile Arena.

"Thank you Dave and @LoyolaChicago @LoyolaRamblers for your hospitality!" Suh posted on Twitter.

Dave is Dave Vitel, the highly respected Loyola assistant athletic director for sports performance with a history of training professional athletes. Vitel's career includes a five-year tenure as strength and conditioning coach for the NBA Timberwolves and various stints working with NFL and MLS players.

Suh's personal trainer and Vitel are good friends, according to a Loyola spokesman. Suh, best known to Bears fans from spending 2010 to 2014 with the Lions, has taken advantage of Loyola's first-class facilities at least once in the last several offseasons.

Suh on Sister Jean's campus _ now that would have been quite a photo-op.

The Loyola basketball Twitter account had fun with the visit, posting: "Sorry @RamsNFL he's a Rambler now #OnwardLU."

Suh was said to be on a business trip to the city, which the colorful athlete clearly enjoyed.

"Man, Chicago was beautiful! Always a good time when I'm there, until next time," Suh tweeted with a picture of "The Bean" at Millennium Park.

Suh loves Chicago? He must have really enjoyed his Sundays at Soldier Field, when he often made himself at home in the Bears backfield.
