The official trailer for Doctor Who season 14 has been released, showcasing Ncuti Gatwa as the Fifteenth Doctor in the beloved British series. The trailer offers a glimpse into the upcoming season, featuring Gatwa alongside Millie Gibson's character, Ruby Sunday, as they embark on adventures through time and space aboard the TARDIS.

The trailer teases various settings, including the 1960s, Regency-era England, and the dinosaur era. Set to David Bowie's Changes, the trailer opens with Ruby questioning the Doctor's origins, to which he introduces her to the TARDIS, a time and space machine. As they navigate through different time periods, they encounter new characters such as the Duchess, played by Indira Varma, and Callie Cooke.

Disney+, the streaming platform for Doctor Who, hints at thrilling encounters with friends and foes, including a formidable bogeyman and the Doctor's most powerful enemy yet. Season 14 marks Gatwa's first full season as the Doctor, following his debut in the Christmas special, The Church on Ruby Road.

The special delves into Ruby's backstory, from being abandoned as a baby to her present-day quest to uncover her roots. Gatwa, as the first Black actor to portray the Doctor, expressed his excitement and dedication to the role, acknowledging the show's global impact and the responsibility it carries.
