NBPA Top 100 Camp: Five Players to Watch

Zion Williamson said that the major turning point in his career came when he won MVP of the NBPA Top 100 Camp the summer before his junior year of high school.

On Tuesday, a new crop of stars will invade the University of Virginia for the NBPA Top 100 Camp looking for a chance to make their mark.

We’ve zeroed in on five players you can’t miss at this year’s event.

<p><strong>School:</strong> Hamilton (Sussex, Wisconsin)<br /> <strong>Position:</strong> Small Forward<br /> <strong>Class:</strong> 2021<br /> <strong>College: </strong>Uncommitted<br /> <strong>Why him:</strong> Baldwin has put up strong numbers despite playing on a loaded Phenom University squad, which features two other five-star prospects. <p><strong>School:</strong> Norcross (Georgia)<br /> <strong>Position:</strong> Shooting Guard<br /> <strong>Class:</strong> 2020<br /> <strong>College: </strong>Uncommitted<br /> <strong>Why him: </strong>Boston is long and wiry and uses his size (6-foot-6) and versatility to create his own shot or maneuver past defenders on the wing. Boston, who is ranked No. 11 in the Chosen 25, is averaging 22.7 points, 8.3 rebounds and 3.8 assists a game for AOT (Georgia) in the Nike EYBL this season.</p> <p><em>Photo: AP Photo/Gregory Payan</em></p>

<p><strong>School:</strong> Nicolet (Glendale, Wisconsin)<br /> <strong>Position:</strong> Small Forward<br /> <strong>Class:</strong> 2020<br /> <strong>College: </strong>Uncommitted<br /> <strong>Why him: </strong>Johnson has been one of the top players in the Nike EYBL, averaging 17 points, 9.2 rebounds and 6.2 assists a game for Phenom University (Wisconsin), one of the top teams in the league. Johnson is a gifted slasher who attacks the rim aggressively and is capable of a Sportscenter Top 10 play in every game. <p><strong>School:</strong> Minnehaha Academy (Minneapolis)<br /> <strong>Position:</strong> Center<br /> <strong>Class:</strong> 2021<br /> <strong>College: </strong>Uncommitted<br /> <strong>Why him:</strong> Holmgren is an active big with a wide array of skills on the offensive end. <p><strong>School:</strong> Trinity International (Las Vegas)<br /> <strong>Position:</strong> Point Guard<br /> <strong>Class:</strong> 2020<br /> <strong>College: </strong>Uncommitted<br /> <strong>Why him: </strong>Nix has great size at 6-5 and knows how to use it to pick apart the defense.
