NBCC awards Rs 955 crore contracts in Q1; signs MoU for AP Bhawan project

New Delhi: State-owned NBCC has awarded contracts worth Rs 955.13 crore during the April-June quarter of FY27 for construction of various projects.

In a regulatory filing, the company said it has “awarded the work contract of Rs 955.13 crore during the quarter ended June 30, 2026”.

During the quarter, NBCC awarded a total of nine contracts. It did not disclose the names of the contractors.

The largest contract, worth Rs 334.74 crore, is for construction of the Central University of Kashmir at Tulmulla campus in Ganderbal (Phase-I works) in Jammu & Kashmir on an Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) basis.

Another major order worth around Rs 200 crore was awarded at Purulia in West Bengal for construction of an integrated township under Raghunathpur Thermal Power Station (RTPS), Damodar Valley Corporation (DVC), along with allied works on EPC basis.

Separately, NBCC has also signed an MoU with the Government of Andhra Pradesh to construct a new Andhra Pradesh Bhawan in New Delhi at an estimated cost of Rs 105–105.5 crore. The project will have a built-up area of nearly 2.5 lakh sq ft.

The company said the project will involve “planning, design, and construction” of the new Bhawan. The cost excludes GST and project management consultancy (PMC) charges, and it will be executed on a turnkey deposit work basis.

NBCC operates in project management consultancy and real estate development.
