NBC to use ‘High Sky’ camera as main angle for Steelers-Titans matchup

Sunday night’s preseason game between the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Tennessee Titans may not technically count for much, but there will be something very different about it.

NBC will be showing the game primarily using a camera the network calls “High Sky.” The camera will be roughly 50 feet off the ground and located at the line of scrimmage.

This isn’t the first time the matchup has been used to showcase a different camera angle. Two years ago at Heinz Field, NBC used SkyCam as the primary camera during a Thursday night game.

It didn’t get a lot of love from viewers, as it made it difficult to get a good look at each player on the field.

NBC will hope to get a better reaction when the Titans take on the Steelers at 7 p.m. CT on Sunday at Nissan Stadium.
