NBA world pays respects to Kevin Durant for trying his best to help the Warriors

Kevin Durant’s return to action unfortunately didn’t last long as he left Game 5 of the NBA Finals after going down in the second quarter and holding his right calf, which had kept him out since the second round of the playoffs.

It’s a shame, too, because Durant came out on fire in the first quarter, going for 11 points on three 3-pointers in helping the Warriors jump out to an early lead.

He had Golden State’s offense looking good, too, in a must-win game for the two-time defending champs in Toronto.

But then the injury kicked back in and he had to be helped back to the locker room.
