Aug. 07--Set for a second tour of basketball duty in Australia, NBA veteran Josh Childress has put a condominium unit in Irvine on the market for $1.35 million.
Childress, who re-signed with the Sydney Kings of Australia's National Basketball League in July, bought the unit in the Lennox building at Central Park West in 2013 for $773,000, records show.
Steel accents, travertine floors and custom built-ins set the stage for the single-story residence of more than 2,400 square feet.
Among features is an open-space living/dining room with a wall fireplace and a home theater and a contemporary kitchen with granite countertops and dark wood cabinetry. Separate master suites each have custom closets, soaking tubs and steam showers.

Childress, 32, was a McDonald's High School All-American at Mayfair High School in Lakewood and earned Pac-10 Player of the Year honors at Stanford his junior year. The sixth overall pick in the 2004 draft, the guard-forward has played for the Atlanta Hawks, Phoenix Suns, Brooklyn Nets and New Orleans Pelicans across eight NBA seasons.
He was among the top players in the National Basketball League last year before his season was cut short because of a pectoral injury.
