NBA Twitter reacts to Warriors’ win over Trail Blazers, 104-94

Although it was only a mid-week regular-season game, there was a buzz in the air surrounding the contest between the Portland Trail Blazers and Golden State Warriors on Wednesday night at Chase Center.

Heading into the game, Curry trailed Ray Allen by 15 triples for the top spot on the NBA’s all-time made 3-pointer list. To rewrite history on Wednesday, Curry would also have to bury the most 3-pointers in a single game with 16.

Yet, a slow start hampered Curry’s chances of making history in front of his home fans in San Francisco. The two-time Most Valuable Player missed his first four attempts from deep in the opening quarter.

While he was still able to drop in a flurry of buckets from long distance, Curry finished the contest with 22 points on 6-of-17 shooting from beyond the arc. The two-time Most Valuable Player will now have to wait to snap Allen’s record during Golden State’s upcoming road trip.

Although Curry didn’t produce a record-breaking performance, the Warriors were able to secure a victory over the Trail Blazers, 104-94.

After Golden State’s win to improve to a 21-4 record, the NBA Twitter community chimed in with different reactions. Here is a look at what fans and analysts were saying about Curry, Otto Porter Jr., Jordan Poole and the Warriors on Wednesday night.
