NBA Twitter reacts to Warriors tight loss vs. Bulls

After a strong performance in a 35-point win to the Milwaukee Bucks on Wednesday night, the Golden State Warriors were back on the court for the second leg of a back-to-back on Thursday against the Chicago Bulls.

Following a much-needed win on Wednesday, Thursday’s game against the Bulls was a different story. From the opening tip, the Warriors battled the Bulls back and forth.

For most of the game, and especially crunch time, the Warriors had no answer for DeMar DeRozan. The veteran wing tallied 33 points on 10-of-17 shooting from the field with eight boards and four assists in 39 minutes. DeRozan’s most impactful buckets came in the final seconds of the game. DeRozan converted a 3-point play with 26 seconds left in the game to give the Bulls a two-point lead.

On the other end of the court, Brandin Podziemski missed an open layup as the game fell to the Bulls, 125-122.

Nikola Vucevic matched DeRozan with 33 points on 14-of-23 shooting from the field with 11 rebounds and five assists in 35 minutes.

Making Thursday’s game even worse, Steph Curry exited the game in the fourth quarter after apparently rolling his ankle. Following the game, Steve Kerr couldn’t provide an update on Curry’s status.

Klay Thompson tallied 25 points on 9-of-21 shooting from the field with five 3-pointers in 28 minutes off the bench.

Following the Warriors’ loss to the Bulls, the NBA community on X, formerly known as Twitter, weighed in with different reactions. Here’s a look at what fans and analysts were saying:
