NBA Twitter reacts to the Warriors’ losing streak extending after loss vs. Mavericks

In their final contest of the 2024 calendar year, the Golden State Warriors had no answer for Luka Doncic and the Dallas Mavericks on Saturday night at Chase Center.

The Mavericks All-Star point guard torched the Warriors for 39 points on 14-of-29 shooting from the field to go along five made 3-pointers, 10 assists and eight rebounds in 38 minutes.

While Doncic posted a near triple-double, Golden State’s Splash Brother duo was quiet. Curry led the Warriors with 25 points on 9-of-25 shooting from the field. Klay Thompson struggled, scoring only three points on 1-of-11 shooting from the floor. Curry and Thompson combined to shoot for 10-of-26 from the field against the Mavericks.

Chris Paul provided a spark for the Warriors, scoring a season-high 24 points with six made 3-pointers. However, it wasn’t enough as the Warriors’ losing streak fell to three straight with a 132-122 defeat to the Mavericks to end 2023.

Following Golden State’s loss to Dallas, here’s a look at what fans and analysts were saying on Twitter.
