In recent years, the Los Angeles Clippers have basically owned the Los Angeles Lakers in head-to-head matchups. Coming into Sunday’s game between both teams, the Clippers had won 29 of their last 36 games versus the Purple and Gold.
Both teams came into the contest heading in different directions. While the Lakers had lost 10 of their 13 previous games, the Clippers were on a five-game winning streak and had been successful in 14 of their last 16 contests.
Therefore it was no small surprise when the Lakers built a 10-point fourth-quarter lead and held on to win 106-103.

The clippers offense was terrible granted. The lakers got a lot of deflections and just stymied everything to a crawl. Anthony Davis was a monster in the paint . He probably altered atleast 5 or 6 shots I can remember. Few from George anda couple off harden.

The Lakers win over the Clippers was adequate at best. No inside defense without AD, terrible passes and no pressure defense anywhere that it almost led to Norman Powell tying the game at the end. We shouldn’t be satisfied with this win. It wasn’t proof that we’re back on track.
