NBA Twitter reacts to Lakers’ 26-point collapse, loss to Thunder

The Los Angeles Lakers lost to the Oklahoma City Thunder Wednesday, 123-115, and it was a terrible loss all around.

LeBron James did not play due to a sore right ankle, but the Lakers had the talent and experience advantage to defeat the youngest team in the NBA. The Thunder hadn’t won a game this season prior to this contest.

That talent and experience disparity showed when L.A. jumped to a 41-19 lead after one quarter. Los Angeles knocked down multiple 3s and forced Oklahoma City into tough shots on the other end of the floor.

But after the first quarter, the Thunder outscored the Lakers in every single quarter. L.A.’s 26-point lead in the second quarter evaporated, and the loss had NBA Twitter going wild.
