NBA Twitter is earnestly begging Adrian Wojnarowski to go to bed

NBA Free Agency, which began at 6 p.m. on Sunday evening, is the day of ESPN insider Adrian Wojnarowski. A year of source gathering and information trading is unleashed in one spectacular night of NBA transactional goodness.

Woj was in rare form last night, first breaking the news that Kevin Durant, Kyrie Irving, and DeAndre Jordan would all be heading to the Nets, then (to the dismay of Knicks fans), he reported that the Knicks would be signing Julius Randle to a three year deal.

Then the night kept going, and Woj … kept reporting news. Big and small. Consequential and not so consequential. On and on. Into the night. And what started as a Twitter celebration of Woj eventually gave way to bemusement, and then genuine concern.

It was four in the morning on the East Coast, Woj was still dropping news, and people weren’t having fun anymore. People wanted Woj to sleep.

Woj, if you’re reading this: Go to bed, my man. The news will be there in the morning. You won. You’re just running up the score at this point. We all love and respect you. Please, for the love of all that is holy, go to sleep.
