Play by Play Studios has released a remixed teaser trailer for NBA The Run, spotlighting the return of Bobbito Garcia, the iconic voice of street basketball games. Garcia (AKA Kool Bob Love / DJ Cucumber), steps back into his familiar role as MC and announcer, bringing his signature tone to the game’s biggest moments. The trailer also offers the first in-game look at Kevin Durant and Nikola Jokić.
NBA The Run is a fast-paced online 3v3 street hoops title built around above-the-rim action, heavy style, and plenty of highlights. It’s being developed by Play by Play Studios, a new team made up of former Electronic Arts veterans with experience across NBA Street, Battlefield, Star Wars and even God of War.
Players will build out their squads with NBA stars and a rotating lineup of original Street Legends, each designed with their own personality, strengths, weaknesses and custom moves. The game sends players to streetball courts around the world as they chase wins, build reputation and work toward becoming the GOAT of The Run.
NBA The Run is scheduled to launch on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and Steam on PC in 2026.
