NBA taking lead from CTA for All-Star Weekend

Hey CTA commuters and basketball fans, here’s a chance to rep your L line.

Uniforms for next month’s NBA All-Star Weekend are based on the colors representing the city’ L train routes.

According a release from the NBA, blue and red uniforms will be worn during the All-Star Game; purple and orange for the NBA Rising Stars game; green and pink for the All-Star Celebrity Game; and brown and yellow for the NBA Cares Special Olympics Unified Basketball Game.

Each uniform also has a six-pointed star taken from the city flag.

All-Star Weekend begins Feb. 14, with the All-Star Game Sunday, Feb. 16 at the United Center.
