NBA star Tacko Fall sends Liverpool transfer message to Virgil van Dijk and Sadio Mane

Basketball icon Tacko Fall has sent a message to Liverpool and two of their players.

Fall plays as a centre for NBA outfit Boston Celtics, and has posted a video showing off his football skills along with a message to Liverpool.

On his Instagram page, Fall published a video showing himself doing some keepy-ups followed by volleying the ball into a net.

Along with the video, Fall added a caption sending a message to Virgil van Dijk and Sadio Mane.

“Yoo [Virgil van Dijk & Sadio Mane],” he wrote. “If you guys need another striker this summer let me know.”

Fall, who stands at 7ft 5in tall, shares a connection with Mane as the pair are both from Senegal.

The basketball star also met the Liverpool squad and Jurgen Klopp two years ago as part of the club’s pre-season tour in Boston.

Fall's hopes of starring in the Premier League may not be too unfeasible after Klopp jokingly insisted he had finally found a striker.

"Now that's a striker," he said when meeting the NBA ace on the tour. "Finally! Not bad! Come on let's take a picture!

"Peter Crouch!"

Liverpool played Sevilla at Fenway Park that summer, losing 2-1 while also suffering a defeat to Borussia Dortmund on their pre-season travels, along with a draw with Sporting Lisbon.
