NBA's Ryan Hollins lists estate in Tarzana at $2.699 million

March 02--NBA center Ryan Hollins has listed his home in Tarzana for sale at $2.699 million.

The Sacramento Kings player bought the Country English-style home in a gated community in 2011 for $2.3 million.

Set on nearly three-quarters of an acre, the estate was built in 1995 and has a gated motor court. The 6,399 square feet of living space includes a two-story foyer and an expansive living room that opens to a banquet-sized dining room and adjacent butler's pantry. A library sits off the foyer.

A wet bar is in the family room. The kitchen is outfitted with three ovens, a center island, a walk-in pantry and a breakfast room. There are six bedrooms and seven bathrooms.

A sports/handball court, a covered loggia, a swimming pool with a spa, a barbecue, lawn and a rose garden complete the grounds.

Views take in the Valley, a nearby golf course and the surrounding mountainsides.

Hollins, 30, has crisscrossed the nation in his pro career starting with the Charlotte Bobcats and making his way onto rosters for the Dallas Mavericks, Minnesota Timberwolves, Cleveland Cavaliers and Boston Celtics.

A Los Angeles Clipper from 2012-14, the basketball player has deep ties to Southern California having played for UCLA in college and before that John Muir High School in Pasadena, where he was born.

The 7-foot athlete was also a high jumper of note at UCLA, clearing most of his height -- at least 6 feet 10 inches of it -- at Pac-10 championships.

Carol Wolfe and Stephen Walton of Rodeo Realty are the listing agents.
